What happened between King Arthur and Lancelot?
In the heat of battle Lancelot killed two of Arthurs best men, Gareth and Gaheris, who had defended the queen. Their brother, the famous knight Sir Gawain, thus became Lancelots most bitter foe, and as Arthur was forced to respond to Lancelots rescue of the queen, he reluctantly led an army to France to attack him.
