Question: Why do I produce so much lube?

The amount of lubrication that the vagina produces is impacted by age, level of arousal, menstrual cycle, medications and alcohol use, among other things.

Why do I produce so much lubricant?

Even when you arent aware of it (such as explicit leaking wetness), your vagina produces lubrication. Its a natural part of your physiological functioning. The glands in your cervix and vaginal wall create essential lubrication to protect your genital area from injury or tearing, and keep your vagina clean and moist.

How can I stop excessive lubrication?

For example, you could try keeping your legs together after penetration. You could also try putting a towel down to soak up some of the extra wetness, and keep a towel on hand to dry off each others genitals periodically during sex. Lastly, you could try a condom that is specially designed to provide extra friction.
