Question: What is the male version of sari?

Can boys wear a saree?

Men can wear sarees if they want. Today, many men wear “female” sarees because they feel comfortable doing so. However, men have a specific form of saree called the dhoti. People often think of the saree as a strictly feminine clothing piece, but according to many people, it can be worn by men too.

Who invented sari?

The origin of the drape or a garment similar to the sari can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilisation, which came into being during 2800–1800 BC in north west India. The journey of sari began with cotton, which was first cultivated in the Indian subcontinent around 5th millennium BC.
